The purpose of the Mount Holyoke Republicans is to make known and encourage the activities of the United States Republican Party, aid in the election of Republican candidates to local, state, and national office, and formulate and administer programs aimed at involving students in the Republican party.

This Webpage is just one of the many ways we are trying to energize and involve our generation in the ideals of the Republican Party and present reasons to vote and to care about the political process. The MHC College Republicans stand united and determined to revitalize our party on campus. While most students support the increase of government scope and authority, we would rather extend than restrict freedom. Our confidence is in the virtue of the individual and the wisdom of the people, not government’s newest regulation. Instead of insisting on turning every problem over to government bureaucracies, we support empowering citizens to think, act, and solve problems on their own.
